ABOUT US

The establishment of a locally funded college in Cainta is aimed at providing quality higher education to the citizens of Cainta and producing globally competitive and employable graduates who will become future leaders of the community, the nation, and the world.

As a public servant with the passion, commitment, and heart to serve the people, Mayor J.  Keith P. Nieto with the full support of the Sangguniang Bayan applied with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to open a college, the “One Cainta College”.

One Cainta College was originally organized by virtue of Ordinance No. 2016-021 “An Ordinance Establishing A Local College in the Municipality of Cainta To Be Known as the “One Cainta College”, Granting its Charter, Providing For The Rules, Regulations, and Pertinent Guidelines For Its Establishment and Operations Thereof. The ordinance was approved by the Cainta Sangguniang Bayan (SB) on August 30, 2016, at the SB Hall Cainta, Rizal.

Likewise, OCC’s Permit to Operate Three (3) Bachelor programs: Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship (BSE), Bachelor in Technical Vocational Teacher Education (BTVEd), and Bachelor in Information Systems (BSIS) was approved by CHED effective June 2019-2020.
